Manchester Storage was launched over 10 years ago, drawing on more than 40 years of hands on supply chain management experience. What began as an in house solution quickly developed into a dedicated storage and logistics service for businesses across the North West.
Our roots go back to 1979, when the business started life as a family trade lighting manufacturer in Cheadle. From producing our own lampshades and bases, we grew into one of the UK’s leading lighting suppliers, operating from Cobden Mill in Farnworth.
Today, the company remains family owned and led by second generation Director Oliver Tinkler. That heritage still shapes how we work: practical, straightforward and focused on long term relationships rather than short term wins.
From manufacturing to full scale warehousing, our growth has always been driven by operational experience and customer demand.
Expansion of dedicated warehouse storage within Cobden Mill, supporting pallet storage, container handling and distribution services for external clients across Greater Manchester.
Further development of flexible storage solutions, including self service areas and fulfilment support for growing e commerce and trade customers.
Continued investment in facilities and systems to strengthen our position as a trusted storage and logistics partner in the North West.
